Kaiping Jinshan Bridge Lighting Project
Jinshan Bridge is located in Kaiping City, Guangdong Province, and was officially opened to traffic on June 18, 2019. The bridge is 1,512 meters long, with a main tower of 120 meters, a bridge deck of 43 meters wide, and a main span of 180 meters. It is a single-tower space double-cable cable-stayed bridge with a majestic structure.
The landscape lighting design of the bridge is very distinctive. More than 1, 500 sets of RGBW wall washers are installed on both sides, and colorful lighting switching effects are achieved through DMX512 signals. The lighting of the main tower uses more than 300 sets of 105W high-power small-angle wall washers to accurately highlight the three-dimensional sense and structural beauty of the tower.
The main technical difficulty of this project is that the main tower segment height is as high as 40 meters, and the lamps need to have a strong beam to cover each section of the tower. To this end, the lamps specially use 10-degree large lenses to enhance the long-distance projection effect, and use Cree XPE series chips to ensure that the lamps have excellent light efficiency, reliable life, and stable performance in difficult installation environments. This carefully designed lighting scheme not only highlights the architectural charm of Jinshan Bridge, but also gives it a unique visual feast at night.
